This cake was for a family who was moving to the East Coast. It was made to look like a vintage suitcase with leather details and bronze hardware. It was covered in fondant with all fondant details; metal details were brushed with gold luster. The fondant labels were inspired by vintage travel stickers and were hand drawn with edible markers to represent places that the family had traveled. The cake was champagne orange with vanilla custard filling.
