Firefighter Birthday Cake

This buttercream cake was covered in red fondant stripes and frosting flames.  The firefighters, fire truck, ladder and hose were molded out of fondant and added to the front of the cake.  Water was added with blue piping gel, and the cake was topped with a custom birthday banner and a "5" molded in chocolate.  The cake was alternating layers of chocolate chocolate chip and vanilla cake with vanilla custard in between.

Simply Cupcakes Wedding Tower

This cupcake display was for a wedding reception at El Adobe Restaurant in San Juan Capistrano.  This tower of 120 cupcakes included chocolate chocolate chip, red velvet, lemon and vanilla cupcakes. The cupcakes were displayed on our custom stand with a jumbo cupcake at the top for the bride and groom.  The bride and groom's initials were molded out of white chocolate for the top of the cupcake.
The cupcakes were topped with candy pearls and tiny fondant cutouts in the wedding colors of sage green and plum.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich Cake

Yep, it's cake.  Vanilla cake split in half, then filled with strawberry filling and peanut butter cream cheese icing.   This one was for my husband...and very delicious!  Fun for the PB&J lover in your life.

Wedding "Cupcake Cantina"

This fun-loving couple chose to serve a variety of mini cupcakes for their wedding reception at Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano.  For their special fiesta, they chose mini cupcakes in 10 flavors:  Chocolate chocolate chip, vanilla, red velvet, maple bacon, margarita, carrot, moscato, mud pie, pumpkin pecan, and salted caramel.  All the sweet treats were displayed on our antique style cake stands in bronze, gold and Tiffany blue. For the bride and groom, I made a simple 6" round cake for cutting, topped with lifelike sugar succulents.  Que delicioso!
