This 3 tier buttercream wedding cake was actually a 4 tier cake in disguise. The square bottom tier was a double cake (6 layers of cake and 5 layers of filling) with a shorter middle tier. The open peony flower was molded in gumpaste and painted with petal dust in a silvery gray. It looked so elegant in this industrial loft reception space with the rustic wood backdrop.
